Doctor Who
Any Whoovians here? I'm tempted to get into this series because of the few clips I've seen of it, but not sure where to start. Should I start at the very beginning and work my way up or should I start with the reboot of the series with the 9th Doctor?

Start at the reboot. The original series is good, but the amount of Who is a tad overwhelming. They've made it so you can start there and not be totally lost.
Personally, I love Doctors 4, 6, 9, and 11 the best. Those are my top four (in no particular order). I'm probably going to be hung for not thinking David Tennant is the best ever...but I don't care. Also, I have a Sonic Screwdriver. 11s.

Start with the ninth Doctor, because finding the originals can be hard anyways, and I started at the 9th
 . After I finish these seasons I'm gonna go back and watch the classics.

Haven't seen most of the originals, but I'm a faithful fan of the reboot. Six series of awesome; easily my favorite TV show. New season coming in a couple months, too.
My favorite Doctor is 10 (original, I know) and my favorite episode is Midnight.

Of course I'm a whovian, I'm pretty sure I've started a Doctor Who thread to discuss the series everytime a new one starts.
Anyway, start with 9th and work your way up from there, man you are in for a ball of a time... Also, once you start getting into the 11th Doctor, watch some of the behind the scenes documentaries, Matt Smith, Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill are such good friends and are really hilarious together. They're probably my favourite line-up of the series as well, I'm really going to miss Amy and Rory, I really love the chemistry they brought to the show and they're easily my favourite companions...
