This game is giving Yooka-Laylee a run for my money.
I was blown away by the trailer. This is going to be the best year of gaming for me in a long time.

Definitely excited for this one. I like the fact that, since it's not in the Mushroom Kingdom, the levels don't necessarily look like what you'd expect from Mario levels. It's a nice shake-up.

It looks gorgeous and with varying environments ready to be explored, so I'm excited to say the least. Bowser's appearance took me by surprise also and given Mario's hat mechanics I'm sure the same will apply to Bowser in some fashion.

As much as I adored the Galaxy games it's great to see them open up their worlds again. It's looking really great so far. And the variety in the levels we've seen already in that brief minute long trailer is so reassuring.

If the plot in this game is as lackluster and sexist as other Mario offerings, and if the gameplay is as godawful as Super Mario Sunshine's, then I will write a scathing critique on the internet before I play it and then buy it anyway and play to 100% completion (at least twice).

Heres what we need in Super Mario Odyssey:
In the plot Bowser needs to Kidnap Peach, have a lot of generic toads, make the worlds very linear cause exploring is boring, make the missions easy and not challenging, make sure Peach only says two words "HELP, ME" Don't add anything new, just make it like Galaxy, Make Bowser the final boss while his own trap kills him, make the game even more linear then 3D World add more toads, Maybe more toads, change the title to Super Mario Galaxy 3 WiiUniverse for Wii U only. Then I'm sold
