I wish more games had some religious themes in them
Like in these cases. I mean sure you have Assassin's Creed 1. But they feel more background based, although a nice game if you don't like someone holding your hand when playing a game.
But i mean more like this for example, its not the whole point of the game but it is just there and that i just kinda like. Btw. Mute this video, its a let's play 1:57 - 2:32 (Shot 6 times and not dying?. But ey its a game so whatever) 13:37 - 13:45 9:09 - 9:53 11:55 - 12:05 Last edited by Rokai; 24th April 2015 at 12:04 PM. |

Putting religious themes in a video game is walking in a minefield. Make a simple mistake and you have a whole community against you. It's just not worth the trouble most of the time.
Also, this game looks absolutely terrible. |

Its too obvious with that. And it doesn't add to the realism of subtle stuff, its too happy.
I mean like this in a way. Middle ages, divine stuff and just sorta adds a themish feeling |

in hyperdimension neptunia you play as a hot anime goddess and there are technically religions around the many hot anime goddesses, i feel that this qualifies the hyperdimension neptunia games as containing deeply religious themes

another game that incorproates deeply religious themes is silent hill for the playstation x, in which you kill an old lady who is part of a cult and then fight satan. the game has since gone on to be viewed as one of the classics of the horror movie genre

Breath of Fire 2 pretty much invented the evil religion trope. In that game you're fighting against a Christian inspired cult who is tricking the masses into worshiping a death god. People thought it was such a great twist that the church was evil, so pretty much every RPG after it copied the formula.

If you look hard enough, you can pretty much find religion in any video game.
