I know that you can only emulate an Atari 800 emulator on a Dos emulator.

Congratulations on finally getting these working!
The dedication and work you have put in here goes beyond the effort I put in when I discovered the Citadel, all those years ago. Does the emulator run just the games on the cartridge, or can you patch in other ones, or even homemade Spectrum games? I suppose we've got the mythical Perfect Dark push codes to hack next, or the menu system for PerfectHead. Excellent work |

Krijy! Long time no see! You should see all the progress on PD at shootersforever.
You can actually play any 48k or lower Spectrum title in there, and with a little tinkering to read the controller as a keyboard can also type in and run BASIC. Just goofing around ran some stuff up at worldofspectrum. Works fine. If it can be saves as a snapshot it can be run in here. About the only trouble you run into is having to map the controller configuration if a 'standard' one doesn't suit your needs. Love to find a working PerfectHeads. They cleaned up PD much better than GE. Still, some of the functions attached to the removed debug menu still work. For instance, you can manually trigger MCM and set your position via memory editor. Sort of defeats the purpose, but you can do it ;*) Would be great if it was as easy to patch up as the ramrom recorder was though. Anyway, great to hear from you again! |

Somebody just mentioned that today (April 24th) is the 30th aniversary of the release of the Sinclair Spectrum ZX. Amazingly, this year is also the 15th aniversary of the release of GoldenEye. Happy birthday to two huge icons in the gaming world!
