Yes. There is an infinite amount of things wrong if you want to buy (much less if you think you could ever afford to purchase the rights to) Conker. For a fan-fiction. Unless you won the lottery or have filthy rich parents, I doubt that is a dream that will ever be fulfilled. Sorry. :I

It's a bit sad how they had planned a lot more for the Conker franchise, but it was not meant to be. I wonder how many hard brainstorm sessions had happened for nothing, or even early development.

Great, Conker is totally worth $320 ... Microsoft didn't pay 375 million dollars to get exclusive rights to Conker just to sell it to you for ... Nothing.

Microsoft paid for Rare, not for a dead franchise of a single game (plus a remake) which were a total failure in terms of money.

No, MS paid for Rare + Conker and other franchises, it doesn't really matter if the franchise is dead nor how much money they gained. You will never ever have the money to buy Conker, and at the price you'd have to pay ... I'm sure you wouldn't even want to get close.
