I think we're all forgetting how cozy just endlessly flying around a miniaturized map of the United States is, landmarks like Mt Rushmore included.
Pilotwings 64 had the most comfortable vibes. Especially on that Bird Man mode.

Animal Crossing is the ultimate "chill game," imo. There's no real objective or pressure, except I guess that of upgrading your house. Great tunes, fishing, gardening... it's incredibly relaxing and my go to when I get sick of stressful shooting or objective games.

I've probably already said this but the rooms in tomadachi life are really comfy especially the ones that move like the train one

All the visuals in Skyward Sword. Honestly the best part about that game in my opinion.
Also, I don't think I'll ever have a feeling similar to the first time I journeyed through the architecture of Rapture.

I really love early 3D graphics in games, especially N64 and PC stuff. I'm sure I've already mentioned this but whatever. I wish they would skip the 8-bit tryhard retro indie stuff and recreate the early 3D graphical styles like this. I especially love the first Tomb Raider games on PC (despite shit controls), but mostly cause I love caves and jungles in games as well as 3D games with tons of secret passages and shit. It really made you feel like an explorer.
Playing New Leaf with headphones on late at night is one of my favorite things to do. It's like the ultimate and most chill thing ever. |

For some reason I've gotten a sudden urge to play SimCoaster/Theme Park Inc, and that game, man. For a theme park game, the aesthetics were more than a little bit eerie. I think it might have to do with being a 3D theme park management game from 2001.
