Rare Working on PGR Reboot?
This information came from a couple members over at NeoGAF snooping around.
An artist working for Rare recently put these up in his blog: http://i787.photobucket.com/albums/y...ce_scene_F.jpg http://i787.photobucket.com/albums/y...rage_GK_01.jpg In his blog for one of the pictures he wrote, "Here's a little thing I've put together quickly for a undisclosed project. I tried to push the FX and colors to a level that should give it an almost in-game look.". Here is the artists LinkedIn: http://s16.postimage.org/40iwpxfwl/Naamloos.jpg The artist does have other clients but none of them are as close to being as big as Rare or game related at all. With all the recent hiring of race developers and these new pictures...a PGR reboot could definitely be what Rare is up to right now. |

Do you mean Project Gotham Racing...?
And why would Rare do a Project Gotham Racing reboot?

Because PGR is a MS exclusive IP, Bizarre Creations who is no longer developed it and MS said that PGR would be back. Those are the facts that make this assumption some what reasonable.

Fair play, but Rare aren't the most experienced when it comes to realistic racing simulations.

Yeah, I was about to post those five BPL said, and then say that they had a lot mroe than 5 in development during their pre-SNES days at a time. If it's a Kinect racer, then I don't think they'd want it too realistic; I myself have said in the past that N&B would work on Kinect if they removed the option of going on foot.
