Mauville was changed from a nice outside-city to an indoor shoppingmall city thing to accomodate for all of the new mechanics since gen III. Slaterport indeed was only one area before, but I guess the City now is too big to get it all on one map, market included.

The Nintendo 2DS with Capture Card I ordered arrived today. Tested out the (video) recording by producing a video showing my Living Pokedex.

When I can be bothered looking for the right cable I'll be able to record the game's sound as well.

Would anyone be willing to give me a Lapras to use on my team once I beat Norman? I really want to use Lapras on my team. I don't really wanna bug my dad for the money to start up Pokemon Bank (no matter how cheap it is) yet.

I'm pretty sure you can just purify a Shadow Lapras in either Pokemon Colosseum or Pokemon XD and trade it to your current game using the GBA-Gamecube Link Cable.

I'm still mad that I've only ever seen one shiny in any game, and it was a shiny Espeon in the goddamn Battle Tower in Emerald. I was so mad. That was like ten years ago and I'm still mad.
