I'm not denying that the Wii has its share in shit games, but what console doesn't? The point I'm making with this is the exclusive titles are of such a high quality that it completely overlooks the shit games. 3. Most of their IPs are stand alone games. You got games like Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword (I know TP isn't an exclusive) for example which, while they have their places in the timeline, are games you can literally just pick up and play with no other knowledge of the previous games. Microsoft however, their games are completely linear sequels. Try playing Halo 4 without playing the other earlier ones for an example.

Also, you do enjoy Skyrim. Everyone who owns a WiiU will probably be able to as well.

And finally the last point: What good will a controller do you in the long run when for the past 3 years Microsoft have explicitly been focusing on Motion gaming. You enjoy your big epic Kinect 2 fantasy games and let me know how that goes, right?

Those "kinect glasses" don't seem to be 3D to me. They talk about "augmented reality" on the article, don't they mean that you see the game screen through the glasses or something, as if you were in the game itself? More or less like this awesome fake?

This would be pretty awesome, actually. Imagine it being used for FPSs.

You misunderstood. You said that power doesn't matter if all your games of stupid shitty sports shovelware, neglecting to mention that the majority of the Wii's library is just that. Sure, there are a few high quality games, but the same goes for every console. To ignore the Wii's shitty library "because the good ones overlook the shit" just screams "I'm a fanboy who wants my shit to be better than yours"

That's only true if you're playing the game for an intricate story. And if you're doing that, Nintendo already wasn't the company for you.

It's an upgrade to the device. It's just like the Motion Plus for the Wii only obviously more expensive. It's a pack in with the console though so I don't see anything wrong with it besides it being a bit too soon.
