So as far as the new characters go, here's what I think of them.

Lucas is pretty much the same, which is for the better IMO. His up-smash is still stupidly punishable, his specials are still a little quirky compared to Ness, but I feel like it's much easier to combo with him this time around, in particular his nair and dair. I don't care what everyone says, I'm gonna be playing him religiously for a while now.

I'm so glad they changed Roy's moveset, even the tiniest bit (before I get ahead of myself, ok, Starblazer, you were right). He's got less range but more mix-up potential. People are up in arms about there being 5 Fire Emblem representatives, let alone another swordsman, but I'm not too bitter about it, especially since Roy's new design looks so fresh and crisp.

Ryu is one of those characters like Mewtwo where it's gonna take a lot of getting used to before I can do anything with him, but I fiddled around with him online and he has a lot of potential. At the same time, though, he's the new Little Mac in my regard because I can't stop tatsumaki senpukyaku-ing off the side of the stage on accident due to the weird Street Fighter control mapping. It's something one gets used to over time, I guess.

yea mewtwo is hella fun to play but all his moves take time to do it's like Ganon X2

Really lovin what they're doing with the mii fighters and I'm excited for the Miiverse stage it's a neat idea

Roy feels incredibly good to play as. Lucas is definitely downgraded from Brawl, and his changes will take awhile to get used to. Ryu is okay, except SF button inputs don't exactly work 100% of the time in a game where you're not locked facing in one direction... Too many times have I tatsumakisenpyuken'd off in the wrong direction when I wanted to do that special hadouken.

I'm enjoying playing as Roy the most out of the new people. Ryu will definitely be the most challenging character to adapt to, but I can already see some of my tournament friends inventing some new tech for him already. He's dope as ****. I would play as Lucas more if I was better with the MOTHER boys, they're both good as hell.

It's all good, I just still find it funny that people thought there would be two copy-and-paste Marths in the same game. Sakurai would just not do that, lmao.

In their defense, some of these Mii Fighter designs look pretty nice. And they might be hinting at reveals to come, who knows.

Honestly, I don't see what the big deal is. They showed off a Meta Knight costume piece before he was confirmed to return. It's not exactly an expedited process making a fully-fledged character, guys.
