Suzy is basically selling refurbished jewelry. She bought jewelery, updated it to her taste, and then resold it (which tbh I don't see much wrong with, if you buy planks and use it to make a chair, you don't need to credit the people who trimmed the tree for you either right?)

Suzy gave them an apology, trying to explain this is new for her too etc. Apparently fans did not think said apology was enough (I've only skimmed the apology).

Now Arin is getting involved in saying said fans are shit.

Suzy was buying 3 dollar trinkets on Etsy, putting a chain on them and selling them as 'self made, one of a kind' items for over 80 dollars on THE SAME SITE. And now she is super sad for being found out.

It's more like if you bought a chair from someone that was already made, dyed part of it a different color, then sold it for 50x the original price as "an original piece of work, self made"

Buy a pendant for $5.

Affix a $3 piece of quartz to it.

Then put it on a chain that costs you $5.

Sell it for $90.



I mean I get that it's a business she's running and she's gotta make a profit for the work she puts in, not to mention her labor, shipping, etc., but if I can make the same thing for 1/6th of the price she's selling her product and I did buy something from her, I'd be mad too. Shady as hell.

Well, that and her lying about where she's been getting her parts from. That's why she said shit was so expensive. Turns out she bought cheap and it didn't warrant the insane price.

Toon Grumps was the greatest, man. There is outstanding support from the fans on the subreddit for them to do more of these. It probably won't happen, but Ross said it himself during the episode that he has nothing to do with his main channel that has 400k subscribers at the moment.
