Best Game Completion Times
What is your best 100% completion time for BK?
(that is: geting all 100 jigies, all 900 notes and beating grunty) mine so far is 5.08.08 (though i did miss a note in MMM which made the time a little longer as i had to go looking for it lol) |

I still can't beat BK 100%. Same goes for Super Mario 64 aswell, and I got both games around the time when they came out.

I did it in either 5.5 hours or maybe it was barely 6. I've played through the game so many times, it's like 2nd nature doing a complete run-through. I can't imagine a 2 hour completion, though!

A speed run for ANY game would be impossible for me to do, basically because I like to enjoy every last part of a game. ;; I go pretty slow when completing games. I DID watch the video for B-K's 2:55:01 run, and it's amazing. I checked out the others, too...the 5 minute run for the NES Super Mario Bros. was fun to watch, too.
On the topic of speed runs, anyone else know that guy who finished Ocarina of Time in about 5 hours? I could never imagine finishing that game so quickly!

I hate rushing a new game just to complete it quick. And once its goodness is fully seen and done, there isn't any urge for me to complete it as quick as can be. I just move onto the next game that i have... But my best time is Sub 5 1/2hours for BK.

I saw a SM64 speed run that was competely amazing. I can't remember the exact time, but I think it was under an hour. I also saw a SMB3 speed run, but that one was proven fake. It was still kinda cool though.

ya i love going slow at first as well
But now that BK isnt exactly one of my newest games (first game i ever bought and that includes PC games which i have a lot of ) i have been trying for ages to get a really fast time. i know each level like the back of my hand and i've sort of got a "method" of completing each level with max effeciency hehe i bet i could beat that last time too, stupid Mad Monster Mansion note. |

In response to Kaz da Breegull...
That guy TSA hangs out a lot at the forums on speeddemosarchive.com. He does lots of Zelda runs... And I mean lots. But his OoT one was the one he spent the most time on. He set up a topic and just spent tons of time checking around the game for small sequence breaks, etc., and a lot of other people helped him with strategy too. After a long time, he had 5:04. Then he set up another topic, and a lot more people sent in small improvements, and so about five months later he made the 4:57. He says he's played that game for thousands of hours... o_0 EDIT: Anyone want to try beating BK blindfolded?
