In an act of blasphemy and despair, I traded in my Wii U, old Xbox One, and old 3DS along with the apparently gold-laced Mario Party 8 and NSMBU for a Playstation 4. This is actually the first Sony console I've ever owned, as a devoted Microsoft and Nintendo fanboy. I also picked up the Uncharted Collection, Uncharted 4, and The Last of Us Remastered. (The Naughty Dog Collection, really.) I plan on picking up Ratchet and Clank as well as Horizon: Zero Dawn when that's released.

My question for you all is - what should I be getting? I've missed out on decades of Sony exclusives - so which are the ones that are must plays? TLOU and Uncharted were the two series' I was most interested in crossing over for, but what are the weird exclusives that I need to pick up. Already been eying Resogun on the "arcade game" side.

Also, add TweetsByDre on PSN.

I remember Gravity Rush being a fun little game when I played it on Vita half a decade ago. Gravity Rush 2 is supposed to be real good. It does look anime, much akin to something weeby like Game of Thrones, but it has more in common with a PS2 platformer than a jrpg, and I don't mean that in an outdated way. Big world to explore, things to collect, a fun way to mess with the environment.

Bloodborne, and Nier automata when it comes out next month. Also persona 5 when it comes out as well. And ff xv maybe. And the two KH compilations.

Preposterous? Anime is animation or cartoon and Minecraft is a game. He can still like it even if he doesn't watch anime. I don't watch anime either way.

?????? I don't get it ? Minecraft's a game though. unless your talking about the animations that are in the game like skeletons, steve, and creepers.

I would suggest Ratchet and Clank, Bloodborne, and Nioh. Off the top of my head. If you're into MMO's FF14 is a very great game to play on consoles.

Oh and the Kingdom Hearts games, assuming you haven't played any on the Nintendo handhelds

No actual switch - I bought an Xbox One S, so it was just trading in consoles that had been gathering dust, and I realized that my Wii U was just really a Mario Maker machine at this point.
