Ugh the goron fight with Darunia is giving me such trouble for some reason. They end up taking my base right after I shoot a boulder into their chief room

You have to run back to the main base and defend it from the horde at that point and also make sure to capture the boulder squares in the middle-left and middle-right of the map.
And watch out for the bombchus. That was the first mission I died on.

Tecmo did an amazing job creating characters that fit in with the Zelda universe with Lana and Cia. I'm also surprised at how well they were able to replicate Midna's/Fi's personality. Of course, it maybe had the same english writers as the original games had.

I'm kind of disappointed that Sheik was Hyrule Warrior's Zelda. I was hoping for it to be OoT Zelda so Impa/Link could just have a big WTF moment
I also like trying to predict when this game's events take place in relation to OoT, SS, and TP. It seems when they go through the SS gate, it's well before any events had taken place, since Fi said Link isn't the master, but a master. In TP, I guess it's before any of the game takes place since it was the first time Midna was transformed, but after Zant had taken the throne. OoT has to be after Link kill's Ganon and is sent back in time by Zelda, since Ruto, in her adult form, says the Lens of Truth was left in the water temple by the Hero a while back

Well, there's been cannons. And much more technologically advanced weaponry so it's not surprising. I mean your ships and train in WW and its sequels had gunpowder so it's not unusual to think they'd figured out a flintlock pistol

This is great, now I can make my gf play Hyrule Warriors with me whenever >=D. I wonder if we'll get the characters on the Wii-U as well, or if they're going to stay exclusive to give people a reason to re-buy the same game, but portable.
