It would be nice if they did an Odyssey 2 in the same vein as Galaxy 2; a more focussed and challenging platformer with niche hardcore appeal. I really liked Odyssey, but I agree that it was rarely challenging. For me, it didn't need to be challenging to be fun, but I understand how it can feel lacking to some people.

Super Mario Odyssey is the best Mario game released in the past decade. Even stretching that window out to cover Galaxy that statement is true.

Galaxy asks you to look at it's flaws since you need to replay the whole thing as Luigi to get 100%. That second time around it's a lot less fun then the first.
I mostly kept Mario in his default outfit. I'm a traditionalist. I did mix it up in the post game.

I got my Switch finally and have been bing binging the wahoos. It's really nice how they went back to an exploration style game again for Mario, while also blending in point A-B gameplay in certain sections. I'd say Odyssey is the best of both worlds.
