The Newsroom
I'm not sure if there are any people on The RWP who are big Aaron Sorkin fans, but his new show, The Newsroom, premieres tonight at 10 pm on HBO. As someone who was obsessed with both Sports Night, The West Wing, and Studio 60; I really can't wait for this show.
"The series chronicles the behind-the-scenes events at a fictional cable news channel and features an ensemble cast that includes Jeff Daniels as an anchor, who, together with his staff set out to put on a news show "in the face of corporate and commercial obstacles and their own personal entanglements." Didn't seem as good as The West Wing, but still quite good. The speech at the beginning was fantastic.

Oooh thanks for mentioning this, I've been intrigued by this, mostly by the combination of Jeff Daniels and Aaron Sorkin, so I will have to check this out.
