I never saw this on TV, but I did know about it. One time when my family and I went to the video store I saw "The Legend of the Crystal Coconut" on one of the shelves. Being a fan of DK64 at the time, I got curious so I took a look at the cover. I thought it was claymation when I saw the cover, but now that I've seen it in action I realize that it's just really creepy looking computer animation. Who knew DK could sing?
I feel like I've heard Diddy's voice somewhere else, but I can't put my finger on it. It's driving me crazy.

Well it looks like most of the effort per episode went into the music videos.

I remembered it as a passable albeit disposable kids show, but watching that clip indicates it was actually a hateful and offensive carnival of douchebaggery. Listen to their voices!

Wow, watching that again has just completely ruined my child-hood happy nostalgia for it. The animation of it was so horrible!
And funky kong reminds me of a hairy 50 year old guy in speedos trying to stay 'with it'.
