Here's what I think is a pretty decent level. Featuring brancing paths with multiple boss fights, and also a scathing commentary on capitalism and the role of the working man.

How active is this game these days?

I haven't played in forever, since I got sick of trying to beat the 100 Mario Challenge on Expert + I ran out of inspiration for new levels to make. I planned to pick it back up after Nintendo released another update with new creation stuff, but it seems they've abandoned this game.

Still seems like people are pumping out levels at a fair pace. This is still a game I return to every couple weeks just to spend some time on a level. Probably would be doing way more on the 3DS if it weren't so crippled.

I've been meaning to set up the Wii U and get back into this. I'll give the level a shot when I get the chance, try my hand at making some myself again.

I played this game again, and made some levels that hopefully won't just get deleted by the automated system in a month
This level contains spinning
Fly, Raccoon, Fly!

Give them a try if you ever feel like plugging in your WiiU and removing the crust from the gamepad screen. But seriously, when is the Switch port?

I set up the Wii U last night and I've been itching to play more Mario Maker. Gonna go through later tonight and play some of these levels!! If I make anything good, I'll post my course ID here, too.

The three levels I actually posted are still up and they... could use some work, ha. The only one I'm actually mostly okay with is the last one, where I tried to keep the actual Super Mario Bros. aesthetic- ground can only be two tiles high but mushroom platforms and floating blocks can act as higher platforms, the only way the camera should scroll up to the upper half of the playfield is through vines and clouds, things like that. That had secret path that was the only way to get to the top of the flagpole.

Made a couple levels, y'all.

Koopa Family Reunion (C4V-2N9-BYF): this one's a boss rush, but a fair one. You fight the Koopalings two at a time, and each boss room has a different gimmick. It doesn't have any likes yet, so if one of you could give it one to help keep it on the server, that'd be mighty kind.

Bony Bathers (TMV-2CF-R0G): this one's a more typical platforming level in the where the hook is that you have to bounce on giant Dry Bones that are half-submerged in poison.
