Er, if memory serves me right, A levels are kinda like the Higher Education in Britain (the AP classes of American levels).
You have to qualify for them, I think.

No A-levels, but I, being a somewhat younger tyke, am waiting expectantly for GCSE results... one week from now, in fact. (Threadjacking rather than making a new topic because I doubt there are very many forumers who fall into either category.)

I get my maths GCSE result next week, everyone in my year did that one a year early for some reason. I might also be getting half a science one, I'm not sure

I Just got my results. They arn't brilliant, but i got on the course that i wanted. Which is theatre studies and scriptwriting. That course starts in 2008. so I get a full year of rest,relaxation (and a little part time work).So i am very happy with the outcome!!
