7 reasons why Banjo could be in Brawl.
1. Banjo and Kazooie are well-known, very popular game characters from the N64 era.
2. Their potential movesets are PERFECT for the game. 3. Rare is bound not to make any GAMES for Nintendo hme consoles, but I think mith MS' permission, Banjo could be in. 4. It could be good hype for B3. 5. Snake is in. Many consider Sanke's apperance to be advertising fo MGS4. 6. Snake is one of Sony's biggest characters. Without MGS4, the PS3 would have nearly no exclusive games to look forward to. 7. How much could it hurt Microsoft if Banjo would be in SSBB? Yeah, I still believe that Banjo won't be in, there's like a 1% chance of it happening. But I just wanted to actually post SOME points showing in Banjo's favor. I mean, it's sort of a lopsided argument, no one is defending Banjo being in SSBB. So I'll take the honor. |

I think it'd be awesome to play as everyone's bear-and-breegull duo, and I was even thinking of a moveset for them last night. It could happen, and it would be great! I think that there's about a 35% chance of them being in.

It would be absolutely fantastic if Banjo and Kazooie were in SSBB.
I really doubt it, but there's always hope. Snake is a beacon of hope for all other party characters. ![]()

A better list.
1) Banjo debuted on a Nintendo console like every current character, including Snake. 2) All four of Banjo's adventures are on a Nintendo console. 3) Banjo, during the "character list" surveys in America and Japan, was incredibly high on the list, beating some out of the characters that actually got in (Mewtwo). 4) Microsoft has continued to let Rare work with Nintendo on portable consoles, so it would be simple for them to be approached with the idea. 5) Nintendo has announced 1-2 more 3rd party characters as being possible and Sega themselves said Sonic "isn't in the cards" so that leaves just about anybody up for grabs. 6) It won't actually help the game sell any more than it already will, but it will give them free advertisement. MS doesn't have a lot to lose by doing it because it won't help Nintendo. This principle is what permits Rare to work on the DS in the first place. 7) Microsoft never had Rare port BK to DS, but lately they have been talking about it with the looming release of Banjo Threeie. It is clear that Microsoft is already considering using Nintendo as a platform to bring Nintendo fans to Xbox, albeit in a different manner. What better way to get a lot of Nintendo fans to get a 360, especially in Japan where there are so few that do. PS: Banjo won't be in Brawl . |

That was good, Grey. Except Snake didn't debut on the Nintendo. It debuted on the MSX.

Yes it would be good, no it would never happen.
Snake is owned by a 3rd Party Company. Banjo&Kazooie are owned by a 1st party company - Microsoft. Won't happen, would be nice, won't. Snake has mainly appeared on Sony's consoles but that's only because it was the most popular console at the time so it would sell well on it. he can, and has appear on any console. Banjo on the other hand can only appear on Microsoft consoles excluding handhelds. Quote:

. Sonic 2 debuted in the arcade (I think?) but it... debuted on Sega Genesis. At least in my mind .EDIT: Ice Lightning, Banjo is owned by second party company Rare, isn't it? |

Grey and Ice Lightning... no need to be so pessimistic.
Really, we don't know as much about Brawl as we think we do. I doubt it very much too, but I'll never say never. Grey has a good list why.

![]() You're getting confused, the Nick Arcade had a arcade-style Genesis machine with a prototype Sonic 2 in it. At least that's the only arcade connection I can think of for Sonic 2. ![]() Wow this is off topic. |

But despite all this first-part second-part thrid-party crap, they would have a damn good moveset, wouldn't they?
Up-B: Flip Flap B: Eggs (what kind of egg is random) Side B: Beak Barge Down-B: Beak Bust (Smash Down B for Bill Drill) A: Claw swipe (hold for Kazooie to continuously peck)] Run A: Roll Side A: That move Kazooie does to attack when Banjo is on a ledge ...The list goes on. |

It would be completely awesome.
I can imagine Gruntyy and Mumbo as AT's too. Maybe a stage such as the top of Grunty's Tower with a remix of the Final Battle theme in B-K playing. *Drools* |

And they'd be able to glide! They even have a move called Glide!
I think aerial A-down would be Beak Buster, and down-B would be Bill Drill. Also, how can we incorporate the Breegull Blaster into this? It can't be absent!

I think the FS could be the Wonderwing or something.

The more and more I look into this, the more and more hope
I get. Which is hopless, because they are less then likely obe in it. As a counter-argument for Banjo is Microsoft's work, it isn't. It's owned by Rare. Who is only restricted not to make games for Nintendo home consoles. I think that with some negotiation with MS, and maybe some money, BK could be in. Also, Nintendo uses Rare's DK design. Just want to clear things up, I know Nintendo owns DK, but do they own Rare's DK design? In every game with DK, the credits credit Rareware for the DK models. So the models are Rare's, but Nintendo has a right to them? I'm a bit confused with it. And, likewise, if Rare owns DK's 3D models, couldn't they just ask to use BK's 3D models and credit them for it? I'm probably wrong on this, but just want to clear it up. |
