Now that Sonic has been confirmed in Brawl, and numerous other characters from the Nintendo universe have surfaced over the past few months (Pokemon Trainer, etc)...

Who else do you think might be in/ has a good chance of being in Super Smash Bros Brawl?

Be realistic, not bias. Don't be all "Banjo has to be in there because he is the BEST!!".

I say him, and I have reasons. He is a reasonably popular character who was higher up in a Smash demand poll then Mewtwo, who got in. He can make an easy moveset, and Microsoft would think of it as promotion for B3.

I just can't wait for the Banjo update in the next four months, and how I shall laugh at all you non-believers. LAUGH!

Serisouly, Black Shadow has a good chance.

Hakey, there are only going to be three third parties and it'd be unreasonable to include more than one from the Sonic franchise.

Sakurai never said there would be three third-parties. Rather, he said that there would be two or three third-party characters. Two characters could be from Sega and one from Konami. I believe it's still possible Tails (or another Sonic character) could be in. Though I have an inclination a different franchise would be represented like you said.

I can't help but refer to the infamous SSBM hoax regarding Sonic and Tails.

Maybe that was a spot of foreshadowing? That's very likely impossible.

But perhaps Tails will be included as a fan treat. That is hardly impossible.

I bet Tails will be there in Adventure Mode, but the chances of him being playable are worse than Banjo's.
