Walk me through it....

I heard USB Keyboards work on a Wii. Could someone confirm/deny this, and if confirmed, would you walk me through it?

Shove a keyboard in the USB port, it'll work. That's all there is too it as far as I know

Nothing bad can happen from trying anyway, why don't you want to? It's no different from a normal USB port, it's not like it'd cause your Wii or keyboard to die :S

No, it's just that some keyboards require installing using CDs. Thanks Ice, I'll try it out tomorow. I'm so tired right now...

Yes Fox, this IS confirmed, and it WILL work. If you need a CD to install it, just try it without the installation, and I'll bet that it will work.

And if your keyboard or Wii is fried, I'll pay for a new one.

USB keyboards will work without an installation CD, the only thing is if you have a keyboard with extra buttons (eg. My Documents button, My Pictures etc...) then you'll need to install an application on Windows to change those button settings, but they are useless on the Wii so no installation disc is needed.
