**** Metroid Prime And...
...it's Double Bomb Jump thingy.
That is all. I needed to vent my frustration. *Goes back to trying to get the God-forsaken Energy Tank in Magmoor Caverns* |

It is so much harder to Double Bomb Jump in this game compared to Echoes/Corruption...
I WILL 100% this game no matter what though... |

100%.... with scans
.No matter how irritating bomb jumping may be in any other game, it never compares to how frustrating infinite bomb jumping in Super Metroid was to really really high locations. Course, that wasn't implemented intentionally, so . |

Its pretty easy once you get the hang of it. What annoyed me the most was getting the super missile after the thremal visor (stupid thermal visor glitch). With a little spring lock jumping and some ghetto jumping, I reached it.
But yeah Grey I know what you mean, annoying as heck in Super Metroid.

Lay a bomb, then just before it explodes, lay another one.
The first one will send you up, at the height of the jump, lay another bomb, then you'll land on the second bomb, which will explode, sending you up to the third, which will also explode. Double bomb jump! Or, for a triple, just as you land on the second bomb, lay another, and then when you hit the third, another, and at the height of that, another, then you'll land down the bottom for the fourth, it'll send you up to the fifth, which in turn sends you up to the sixth and BAM! Triple bomb jump.

I know how to do it. It is just frusturating that if I messed up, I was damned to die in that God-forsaken lava...
But I got that fricken' Energy Tank. All is well. EDIT: Though nothing, and I mean NOTHING, will ever compare to the frusturation that was the Boost Ball Guardian (except BBG on Hard Mode, obviously). Last edited by Avarice; 23rd February 2008 at 02:15 AM. |

I meant the BBG on Prime 2. Hence, I typed it's name.

Well, no-one had mentioned Prime 2, and I never got very far in Prime, and I asumed there was a Boost Ball Guardian in THAT.
Anyway, it's the most frustrating, but not the hardest. Quadraxis is the hardest.

And Quadraxis was really easy. Unlike the BBG, that fight wasn't really based on luck. |

Meh, I expect if I did it now I could beat it. It's just at the time I was a really bad gamer.
I couldn't 120 Star Complete Super Mario 64 back then
