Pikelet?

The poll is for the pronunciation, so that's out of the way.

So, what do you feel Pikelet's role will be in BK:N&B? Will he be a character who has lots of appearances, or will he be at the beginning and end only? Perhaps he's actually the LOG, and we don't know it until the end of the game? Maybe he's a bad guy, but we think he is good the whole time; good, but we think he's bad?

What do you think of Pikelet?

EDIT: Here's a picture, for those of you who are scratching your heads right about now. Clicky.

I believe according to Rare's site, he and Trophy Thomas are convinced by the Lord of Games to compete against Banjo & Kazooie. Not that that tells us much about him anyway.

He certainly seems interesting...hope he turns out to actually BE interesting.

EDIT: Ah, here is the quote

So it seems that more than just Grunty is competing for the deeds to Spiral Mountain?

Pickelet, it's like Seel.

Seel is a change of the name Seal, which is the type that the pokémon is. Pickelet is a Pig, so it's most likely just pronounced like Piglet, but written different like Seel

Pikelet is pronounced Pike-let. Do a search for UK foods by this name.

I was going to say...

Has no american tried a pikelet before? They're basically smaller versions of pancakes you can fit in your palm... cover them with jam or honey or whatever.

Is it just me, or is that pig/police uniform thing getting a bit Duke Nukem?

I didn't know about "pike-lets" either. They sound like silver dollar pancakes.

It's definitely not as clever as Chris P. Bacon, though.

A pikelet is basically a Scotch/Scots Pancake, but tastes like a crumpet.

Lovely with a bit of butter and jam. Ooooh...

So yeah, hopefully Rare are getting to their British roots and expressing it through the wonder of gaming.

Tally Ho!
