Notes! Single file please.

What do you think? Do you like that the notes are collected one by one instead of five at a time? I personally thought it made the note collecting way to easy and boring in Tooie. Of course, I could be wrong. Since notes are now currency, they could be like Zelda's rupees. Some notes could be worth one, others five, others twenty maybe depending on their size or colour.

So, would you like the single notes back, or do you prefer five at a time? Or perhaps you agree with me on the different values idea?

It's your call. Goodnight.

The Note count in the gameplay trailer goes from 1 to 2. Also, he isn't saying they are worth 5 each in Nuts & Bolts, he was talking about Tooie when he said that.

Anyway, I don't really know if I prefer it either way, but one at a time is ok by me.

If notes are unlimited and reappear in this game, then I would prefer them to be grouped like rupees and other video game currencies. It definitely doesn't look like they are going to be similar to the notes in the other games.

I couldn't believe how easy it was to get the 100 notes on Mayahem Temple, it just didnt 'breathe' Banjo's original 'WHERE'S THAT LAST F***ING NOTE?!' hour long trawl through guides and walkthroughs when you realise it's at the level entrance.

Bring back the old Note for a Note system I say.

That wish has already been granted. However, I think it'll be a mixture of Kazooie AND Tooie.

You collect one note at a time, but when you exit a level the notes won't reset, so you do obtain them as happened in Tooie. That's probably how it's gonna work. And I also think that's the best way.

where's the difference between 1 and 5? Prices *1 or *5? However, in BK for instance, there ACTUALLY were 2 notes = 1 (2 were collected together at the same time)

Depends on their placement and their worth in the Showdown Town economy. Not really up to hunting for a few hundred for one new part, say.

i have a feeling that the notes are a lot more scarce in this game. i doubt we will ever see a stream of ten notes in a row to go merrily running through

Remember, it's only the Beta we've seen, notes may be more common in the final release.

If they're not, then I reckon they'll act like beans on Mario & Luigi Parters In Time (hell of a game that).

I think for the surface area, it would have to be one at a time. The game is huge. For Banjo-Tooie's complex worlds, it had to be five at a time because if it was one, people would have freaked out trying to collect every single one. It really depends on the game's complexity. Apparently the levels will be more centralized, like in Banjo-Kazooie, so the Note-pickup-amount has been reduced to one.

Thinks so? I cant see at least 5 or 6 notes int he area when Banjo is tight roping in the gameplay video.

A stream of 10 notes in a row isn't exactly a challenge to collect. Making them each a different challenge in obtaining is an example of the evolution the series is taking.

I liked collecting notes one by one better, I hope that you collect notes in threeie the same you do in the first, original game.
