Interesting...

I've discovered that many of the characters in GbtG were probably inspired by Banjo characters. Let's take a look.

http://www.rareware.co.uk/games/upco...ulies1_800.jpg

Open that in a new window, for I will explain everything.

Let's start from the left.

The Pirate: Blackeye
The lady with big...er...jugs: The big fat witch(I forget her name)
The huncback: Klungo
Fat guy: Blackeye
Turkey: Kazooie
The skinny lady: The skinny witch.
Imps and Flying Imps: Jinjos
Butler: Waddle Dedede (No offense)
Guy with one eye: Klungo
Mummy: Those mummies in Gobi's Valley.
TV: From Boggy's House.
That happy looking skellington: Mumbo
Snake head: Grunty

Uh...YAY!

Well, it is the Banjo team, but I wouldn't go so far as to say that they got these characters just from Banjo. If they could create Banjo-Kazooie I'm sure they have enough imagination to make original characters.

you mean they don't have enough imagination to make NEW original characters. The things in BK/BT were plenty original.

Right, forgot that little word there. I doubt I could have thought of a honeybear who runs around in yellow shorts all day carrying a red bird in his blue backpack. When you think about it, the characters in these games are pretty weird.

It would be cool if one of the bosses is a possessed Banjo. You save him and says something like "see you in 2005"! Which in RareWare terms means 2007-2008.

Oh I hope not. I'll go into college in 2007 and I'll have not time for Banjo.

Some of the character sI can't really see where you're getting that, but those imps and that skeleton on the right are VERY close to the Mumbo and the Jinjos.

RARE's cut corners before. It shows in half their music. <(-_-)>

Yeah. Some of the music in DK64 slightly resembles some from Banjo Kazooie.

Like when you are near the transformation machine, wellthe music there sounds like the backing music music on that world on DK64 where you are near a ghostly castle and to start with have to walk over a plank...I forget the world's name.

Dude using BK character in GBTG makes it that much more better and funnier. Having Banjo's head on a mantlepiece..... good laughs

Ok, so Blackeye bears a strong resemblance to this pirate.
