Pity date?
I am in a situation that I won't go into for my own reasons, but is it ok to go out with someone on a pity date?

Yeah I know it really isn't ok. The thing is I like her, but she is my friends ex girlfriend, and apparently she really likes me. I don't know what to do though, because I don't want to make my friend mad or anything like that.

If she's your friend's ex, than he probably won't mind. If she likes you and you like her, I don't see what the problem is. Did he dump her?

That's no pity date, so I say go do it. If I were the friend, I would just let it happen because I AM your friend and perhaps it would be good for you. However, I'm not him but things shouldn't be so complicated anyways.

I would say its fine to go on a pity date as long as they aren't expecting a long term relationship. If you like her though (then it's not technically pity date), go for it!
