I was pretty let down by their press conference...

This makes me about 3% happier. That's only a little bit. Well, on the bright side, the creative DS part of the Zelda team helping out with the Wii Zelda game can only be seen as a good thing. Phantom Hourglass, while not the best, most challenging or long Zelda, had good and fun gameplay and was obviously the stepping stone for the brand new Zelda experience.

Well... I'm a big Zelda fan (Note: Not fanboy) so this cheers me up a little.

This doesn't excuse Mr. Iwata from his crap-fest that went on today!

I'm not trying to spread rumors, but remember that article a few days ago?

Those changes were pretty fundamental, if you ask me.

That would have been an awesome announcement to make, I don't know, during the portion of the event where the companies are supposed to make awesome announcements.

I liked those changes. If it is real, I'm glad Nintendo is trying something different, instead of what they did with TP.

This seems very promising. If these are good changes, then they will definitely make up for some of the mistakes they made with Twilight Princess. The Zelda series really needs changes right now.
