Ever missed a game?

I'm sure all of you have traded, sold or lost a game at least once. At first you think you won't care about it, but later you feel like playing it again... except you don't have it anymore!

Happened to me twice. Wario Land 3 is my favorite GBC game, it lasted me a lot and I got every item in the game; the thing is recently I lost it, I've searched for it like mad with no luck. I really want to play it again but I definitely don't want to use a rom, that takes some of the magic away.

Most recently (and ironically) I gave away my copy of Wario Land 4. To be honest I didn't care that much for it, but sometimes I still want to play it...

So... ever been on a smilar situation?

I never sell any games or consoles for this very reason. I'd rather be patient and save money than to lose a game I once loved.

The sad part is that I didn't sell any of those! Well I gave WL4 but it was for free.

A few years ago, I had lost a good number of my N64 games: Super Mario 64, Banjo-Kazooie, Donkey Kong 64, and a couple of others. I felt really sad and thought I wouldn't find them. About a year later after I lost them, I had finally found them all, and I was really happy.

I've been missing Paper Mario for about 6 or so years now. I used to rent it all the time back in the day, but then the video store stopped renting out N64 games and I never ended up buying it.

Lazy, much?

Wow fefe...

I had a snes with about 25 games. I woke up one morning to see that my mom gave it and all of its games to our "in need neighbor."

The next week I went to our neighbors house, to see that he had pretty much every system available at the time, and he was filthy rich. He tricked my mom!

When I told my mom she went to his house, and he hid everything and started crying and acted like he never had anything in his life before. Then my mom walked out of the room and he started laughing at me.

I still miss my snes...

Wow Deltonax, that sucks.

I sold my Sega Saturn @ games and my Virtual Boy @ games. I regret both.

I wish I still had Sega Saturn around, so I could play some of its exclusives like NiGHTS. There was another cool one where you had to throw traps to halt burglars from robbing you, and the entire game was actual video. Not to mention the Bombermans.

I wish I still had Virtual Boy, so I could smash it with a hammer, torch the scraps, and meld the molten metal together again to repeat the process over and over until the head of the hammer snapped off.

I sold my N64 with about 10 games. Very cheap price.

However, I bought a new one recently. And I sold my GC but only due to the gc-compability of my Wii.

I have never sold any of my systems, or games. You never know when you want a trip down memory lane. For example, a post on here has made me want to play Starfox Adventures again.
