So I've recorded the first episode of my radio show.

But the file, as a .wav, is ginormous, and my compy won't let me save it as anything else. Anybody know of a way to convert a .wav to a much smaller file?

ahm, audacity can convert to .mp3 . You'll need lame_enc.dll . I think there are a lot of other programs which also can do that. Maybe this one? http://www.wav-mp3.com/

I tried that before. It's the free trial, meaning that only half of it gets transferred.

Maybe you could just record it in "Sound Recorder"? It automatically saves it as an mp3...that's what I did...

He would only have 60 seconds to do a radio show.

I record much longer than that, though...it holds at least 10 minutes...

Google can be your friend... There's tons o' programs that can convert wav to mp3.

Heck, if you have Windows XP Media Edition like I do, windows can do it for ya. Just right click and convert.

I just use audacity. Google it, it's great, plus, you can add effects and amplify your voice.
