Although a lot of these levels are dark and the game has it's aweful moments, what is your favorite level?

I voted Jungle Japes because you don't have the annoyance of switching between the characters a lot and it brings me back to the DKC days!

The Isles. Masive overworld and it get fun to fly around as Diddy once you;re able to.

Frantic Factory. The music in that level is the best in the game(in my opinion) plus you finally have the use of all characters. The level is also not that easy dk arcade*hint hint".

It's almost a four-way tie between some of the levels for me, but when it comes down to it I think Creepy Castle takes the cake. It's not so much the design or the tasks involved in the level, but it's atmosphere. The music is great, and it's by far a creepy castle. There's so many places that look eerily spooky. The crypt comes to mind especially. I don't think I've ever seen something quite like that in a Nintendo game. And although I don't think DK64 compares to the DKC series, Rare did a great job setting the mood.

I'd have to say Creepy Castle, the size of the level is immense and the atmosphere, like Gruntling said, is perfectly done. I was dissapointed with Jungle Japes and Fungus Forest, the stone walls and tunnels took away from the idea that they were forests.

I have never played the game. Ever. That level just sounds like I would like it.

Crystal Caves is my second favorite level and it almost got the vote. The level is very vast, and the music is probably my favorite in the game as goes for levels. It's mood is really tranquil which is suiting. The boss is fantastic, but some of the tasks are a little drab. The ice tunnel race, however, is particularly fun. Crystal Caves is way underrated in most cases.

Fungi Forest just 'cause of that bloody big mushy.
When i first saw it, It shocked me, then i just said "Woah man!!! That is so cool! I get to go up there?! YAY!"
I like unusual things in games. especially 'giant' unusual things...
