Your computer specs...

Blech, got this idea posting in trevor's topic

Anyway, there's a little more to this. Post what you currently have, and then write what you'd like to have.

Currently have:
============
1.4 GHz Intel Celeron CPU
512 MB SDRAM
120 GB HDD
128 MB nVidia GeForce FX 5200 Video Card
Creative SoundBlaster Audigy 2 ZS Platinum

Want to have:
============
3.4 GHz Pentium 4
1024 MB DDRAM
256 MB Sapphire Radeon 9550

As for my hard drive... I'll be happy with my 120 GB unit for quite a while. In fact, I'd be happy with less as my boot drive. I just need the space for backup

Ok here goes:

Currently Have:
============
2.4 Ghz Intel Pentium CPU
1024 Mb DDRAM
200Gb IDE HDD, 250 Gb IDE HDD, 250 Gb SATA HDD (Totalling 700 Gb)
256Mb Raedon 9600 Pro
2x 17" LCD Monitors

What to Have:
===========
3.4-3.8 Ghz Intel Pentium CPU
400 Gb SATA HDD

I'm pretty happy with my computer.... I wouldn't mind a bit of a faster processor but mine's working fine for now so I won't upgrade until I have to yet.

All I know about my current computer is that it has a 1.8GHz processor and 80GB of HD.

HOWEVER, sometime this month I'm considering ordering this computer.

Intel Pentium D 840 3.2GHz (Dual-Core... mmm)
2GB DDR2-533MHz dual channel SDRAM (4x512)
400GB 7200 rpm SATA Hard Drive
256MB DDR NVIDIA GeForce FX 6800, DVI & TV-Out
Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS

I'm not sure if I want to yet though, because I heard that multi-core CPU's (beyond dual) are going public soon, in which case I want one of those.

I hate AMD! I had troubles with them on my last computer. Intel's Pentium processors just seem so much more mainstream. Sure I'm just as likely to experience a problem with Intel as I am with AMD, but Intel's got a bigger name on their shoulders.
