Cool (hypothetical) Wii Channel

The other day, I had an idea: what if there was a special Wii Channel where you could put together little comics or even short movies using your Miis? Imagine getting different backgrounds, or even using your pictures from the Photo Channel, and placing your Miis on them with different animations, and having different word and thought balloons to attach to them where you can type any dialogue you want before "snapping a picture" and putting together a little comic / movie. Imagine all the wondrous mischief you could do with something like this: original web comics, movie parodies, video journals, anything!

Would this be great, or what?

When I came into this thread I expected creepy fail like snuggle with girls channel, but you did not deliver. Good job, Mandolin.

I actually like your idea. As long as you could import your own background, I could see it being interesting. The only problem, though (and quite frankly it may be a crippling problem) is the fact that the horrible comics will far outnumber the regular comics, making sifting through them annoying. I would probably lose morale after awhile. You can't even put a rating system on there because of stupid 5 voters.

Yeah, if they had a ranking AND a view count system (and a search option too), that would make it awesome. I would DEFINETALY want that more than wii music.

True, but the Check Mii Out Channel did come up with a good way of fixing the problem. Right as you go into the posting plaza, you get only the Miis that have gotten good ranking by other members. So maybe when you go into the hypothetical channel there'll be a sort of "popular" section where all the good ones are, without having to sort through the abominations, and finding a good one is entirely a matter of taste. Or you could sort comics based on language, genre, et cetera.

Well, they let us put our pictures on there and send them around. Then again, not everyone on the Wii can see the pictures, so there is a substantial difference. And I think the last thing we all want is people using shocker pictures or shots of their genitals as backgrounds for the comics. I mean, I have seen quite a number of "Blowjob" Miis on the CMO channel, and Miis designed to look like dicks... I think that sort if thing would be best avoided in this thing.

...who knows what the best way of going about it is.

Yeah, but that relies on popular opinion to determine what is funny, and, well...

There should be a sort of "Featured Comic" or "Featured Movie" type thing. And I am so on board with the movie thing, too. My Miis want to re-enact scenes from Terminator. Ossim.
