RWP: End of an Era?
For the past several years the Rare Witch Project has been the preeminent place to turn to for news about Banjo Kazooie and other Rare games. One of the highlights of the RWP is the incredible forum community and a good amount of the threads in the forums have dealt with the upcoming installment in the Banjo series. However in recent months the addition of forums on banjo-kazooie.com has offered an alternative to the RWP forums (not to mention banjo-kazooie.com is up to date on all the banjo news).
I don't want to start a post bashing the RWP, because I absolutely love it.  My question is whether or not you think it will continue the premier Banjo site after Nuts and Bolts is released.Will the RWP survive or has it peaked? |

Yes. I think in the end, the banjo kazooie forum will fall because it is about one game.
RWP is about rare

I think whatever happens, the RWP will always be a home for the hardcore fans. We've lasted all these years without a proper Banjo game being released. TBH I think the official forums will mostly attract a different crowd.

Yes because everything official ever sucks, except for official game accessories. Official things are always crap though, they have to abide by rules of others instead of doing things as they please, meaning you have no say in the matter as it's always run by a big corporate company.
And the BK Official forums have already attracted another type of audience, the people who are attracted to the official things because it's the first thing they find and don't have a clue about anything which actually means anything. It'll take slightly more searching round than the first Google link to find the RWP, so we'll get the better people who care |
