So clearly I don't have to tell you the demo came out today, and I know a good number of us have played it already.

But I haven't seen any help threads. Unless you guys are all better than me (no doubt) and have had no problems... ...but I've ran into trouble already, and haven't seen anyone else having the same difficulty.

So I thought I'd ask for help and set this topic up in the process for others.



The only thing I had trouble with and caused me a bit of frustration was the challenge with protecting Clanker's eyes. I tried it five times, I couldn't come up with a way to do it. I tried my own vehicles, I tried some blueprints... and there were no real hints within the game.

I'm sure someone here's done it, so... any tips?

Go on top of L.O.G's tower and get the missiles....That's how i did it... But i was in your same boat...i couldn't have done it with out missiles =D

I hate this challenge. I just can't make anything work right and the terrain is so awkward to drive on. I can't even beat it with missiles. I've tried at least nine times.

And this is the first challenge I've done. Well, Jiggy challenge anyway.

try a flying vehicle What i did was put the seat down.. add poles to a tail propeller add blocks to a front propeller and add missiles... if you want to see my blueprint add me and we can go to the .....training place (forget the name) so you can see what i did and see if you can get it to work =D

Do you want the trophy or just to win?

To get the jiggy (every time) but not the trophy, jump out of your vehicle right away and just swing your wrench at any of the enemies that go after one of the eyes. Let the robots destroy the other eye all they want.

I'm not looking to get any trophies right away. Probably not until the full game comes out. Right now I'm in more of an exploration/take-it-all-in mood. I want to get as far in this demo as I can

Wow, this challenge took me four tries!!! And I was getting so pissy every time I lost...I actually made a vehicle that had springs on the front and whenever there would be too many bots attacking, I would spring them away, and then shoot any other ones left. It took me about 3 minutes in the challenge, but I was incredibly close to the Trophy Thomas one...

I've seen others on multiplayer with custom vehicles, how do you do that?

In Banjo Land, what are those camera things that you activate by using the left analogue to turn on?

Theres loads of them in Banjo Land and I kept turning them all on then going back and they were off again

Those are security cameras used for a challenge in a different act of the level, I believe. I remember seeing it in one of those "walkthrough" demos Rare did.

Here's how I won the T.T. Trophy for the Clanker's Eyes challenge, if you want to know.

It's extremely easy. If you have the egg gun and all the ammo, that is.
Make a vehicle with all 2x small ammo ( I don't really remember how much ammo you need, maybe you only need 1, maybe you also need the medium ammo ) and the egg gun. Then save it, and begin the challenge.
Just stay ( almost ) on the place where your vehicle spawns ( and don't leave your vehicle, stay in it ), only rotate a little to the left. When the Gruntbots come, just keep shooting ( don't move, just shoot ), and you'll hit ALL of them. The challenge will be over before you know it. I did the challenge without Clanker's eyes losing any 'health'.
If you can't do this, do it the same way as I described, and exit the vehicle when Clanker loses some health, and start hitting the Gruntbots with the wrench! ^^

Get parts in the single player demo, build a vehicle, and go to the vehicle database to save it as a blueprint. Then, in multiplayer, when you're on the vehicle selection screen, don't do "start game" yet, but go to custom vehicles -> your blueprints, and select the vehicle you saved in single player.
