Amongst my usual trip through the web looking for which stores will have the pre-order bonus in Australia (a trip which has previously been highly unsuccessful), I have found Rare have updated their site to include:

AUSTRALIA: EB Games, Game, JB Hi-Fi, Harvey Norman, Dick Smith Electronics, Dick Smith Powerhouse

Good news for those who have/want to pre-order Nuts & Bolts and get the XBLA game free & early.

What I'm wondering is whether I can snatch a code before I pick up a game, and in that case, whether the code will work on the 11th (US release of N&B) or on the 20th for our release...

Yes sweeet, ok can someone explain to me whats happening with that? Something about getting BK arcade 2 weeks early? We get NaB on the 20th so what does that mean? and do we get the code when we pre-order or when we get the game? and is there an limited/special/collectors edition to BK:NaB?

Banjo-Kazooie: XBLA is released on the 26th November. If we pre-order the game when we pick up the game we will get a code. The code will let us download BK: XBLA straight away (6 days early for us). Some stores may give out the code earlier than the game but that's up to the individual stores.

I haven't heard of any BK:N&B Collector's Edition.

For some reason i still cant trust this cause most stores will swindle us. Some one needs to call so we can know for real.

If it makes you feel any better I called the EB Games store I pre-ordered from to make sure the deal was on and they confirmed it. They will have the pre-order code.

That makes me confident but im gonna call mine anyway cause my store is very shifty. They might even say yes they have it but when u go there u get someone who knows nothing about it. And do u know if u get the code now or later?

I was told I would have to wait until the day Nuts & Bolts came out to get the code, however it may be different for different stores.

Thanks a lot GM2K! Another 13 days to go then, when does NaB come out in america? I'm going to avoid going on the forums after its released untill I finish it.

It comes out the 11th/12th in America (depending on when stores actually get it in). I'm carefully picking my way through the Nuts & Bolts forum. I'll wait and see if I need to avoid it altogether.

Cheers, yeah nothing worse then a big spoiler right before you play a game you've waited to play for 10 years.
