What we see here is a small tagline, we dont see the whole review, for all we know they may say the departure lies exclusively in the fact that the game is more focused on user generated content and creativity then it was before, they're claims of departure may not have anything to do with the game's progression or it's level design at all.

It is a very impressive score, one of which I'm not surprised at all to see, as for the "departure" specifics, Wait till we've actually read the review. I'm still set in stone that the game has more similarities then differences.

Nice review. However, some people might not see the similarities with this Banjo and past Banjos while other people do. Some more open-minded people might be able to see the connection while others can't see it pretty much at all. And so thats probably why some people have a different review on things like this. So, while this review says its gone away from its roots, other people might disagree.
