Is Grunty still a witch?
In both games, she uses magic fireballs of doom, but does she use any magic in this game? She shouldn't be called a witch if she doesn't, but an immortal skull that can't die..

Well in the game since mumbo is a mechanic and the wrench is titled a 'magic tool of nearly unlimited creativity' (or something to that effect).
I just assume that now magic is being used to create these vehicles, and Grunty is using magic to create her evil robots.

According to scribes, her magic was apparently taken away (like banjo and kazooie's moves) to make a fair fight, so she isn't a witch anymore I guess. The magic featured in BK and BT has been replaced in favor to mechanical stuff (the whole concept of the new game).

I kind of doubt it. It's hard to talk when you're buried under a massive weight. Not to mention that depending on what said weight is made from, cell reception might be blocked...
