God, even Banjo-Tooie came out on the advertised release date.
Ship dates, release dates, it's in but you can't buy it until such date, or it's not in at all.... for Christ sake
 This doesn't happen with even the ****tiest of movie releases on DVD.

To my knowledge Australia doesn't suffer from this.
We just suffer from weeks/months delays/cancellations  It's pathetic all round

And I get the distinct feeling that when I do go to pick up my pre-ordered copy, and ask about the XBLA code, they'll go "duh-hur, we haven't herd about dat lol u leik mudkips?"

here in Indiana if you want a game on release day , you have to drive to a major city about 50 miles away from where I live to get a copy. My town is small and the only store that sales video games Is wal-mart. They usually get the games 3 days after the release date. Holidays don't help anything either.
