I never got into the previous Final Fantasy games, simply because of the combat system. But this time around it seems more stream-lined and to me more fun to play. The main thing that blew me away about the trailer though was the art direction. Simply incredible. I will definitely be watching this game closely.

Viva Piņata Mastery INFECTED - B1K1 
The only FF games I've ever played has been the remake of III on the DS. This may be the one that sees me dabble further but I think only if there is a fair gap between it and the next "must have" game to give me time to get through it.

But we don't know how long the cutscenes will be yet

Although I could definitely see this having crazy long ones, seeing how the first 2 hours of Lost Odyssey is 70% cutscene.
