I think mass effect 2 will look great, but lets hope that this one wont have any framrate issues and emtpy planets

Sadly, we probably won't =\ Which sucks, I thought I had recalled them saying we'd get a bunch of DLC; at least, more than one planet.

I enjoyed playing through Mass Effect, though. Sadly, I bought the game when it first came out and only very recently beat it once and have been kinda working on my second playthrough.

I'm not quite ready to give up hope yet. The idea of the future DLC, was that it would bridge the gap between the two games. It would make sense to release them in the build up to the new game.
