HELP! I need help with my Sega CD

I need help everybody,I just bought a Model 2 Sega CD & it didn't come with any hook up's but the seller said that it worked perfectly before he lost them,now the problem is when ever I plug it in the side of my Model 2 Genesis & power it with a NES AC Adapter It wont show up anything that the Sega CD supposed to do like show the little Menu Screen or anything,so I but in a CD like the "Back to the Future" Soundtrack but still nothing,I don't have any games yet cause there still in the Mail,I NEED HELP!!! PLEASE IF YOU OWN A SEGA CD OR OWNED A SEGA CD PLEASE HELP ME!!!! IS IT THE POWER! I DON'T KNOW SO HELP!!!!

Who did you buy it from ? If eBay contact the user and file a complaint, ebay will take care of it.

I could imagine it's the power, if it's not even running CDs, check out a how-to guide on the sega CD and see if that helps.

My verdict ? ****s probably busted.

well the seller & me have a understanding & I've been checking all a bunch of "How To" guides & they all say the same thing.

Does the Cd unit use a seprate power unit?

Double check the power unit, It may be the wrong one. I had a simaler problem with my 32X.
