Imagine if a dub was identical to the foreign version of the show. Every word that would have been written in a sub is spoken in your native tongue. No plot details or even individual words are left out. The faces would be edited as the characters spoke in your language so that they are in sync. Would you prefer a sub or a dub under these circumstances?

I'm confused. I keep thinking Closed Captioning when I reread this paragraph. I think I would have the Dubbed, as it wouldn't leave any content out. I don't like reading subtitles for the most part, either way.

Dubbed definitely. Why would anyone even say subbed under these circumstances?

Dubbed.
I prefer dubbed versions mostly regardless. It saves from reading and you can actually concentrate more on the images and scenes.

Dubbed. The main reason why I watch subs of certain anime is because during the jump to English, the writing sometimes gets mangled in the process. This was the case with the first two seasons of Digimon, at least.

Dubbed, most definitely. The only reason I watch subbed is if the voice acting sucks dick (as usual with dubbed animes).

Dubbed, especially in this situation. It helps you concentrate on what's going on.

Dubbed.
Not that I've watched much anime. Just pop anime (Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, that kind of thing) and FLCL. :

Well, dub. You kind of cut out everything that makes people prefer subs in the first place.

Dubbed. So long as the voice actors are good.

Oh, then certainly dubbed! I hate the real film dubs where it looks as if they aren't saying. If it is point perfect, give me the dub!
What really drew the line in dubbing was King Fu Hustle. Good movie, bad dub.
