Fixes 'N' Glitches, Spot the Difference!

We had one for B-K live, why not for Tooie
In this topic we list the differances we find between the versions.

Messed up music:
Spiral Mountain
Glitter Glutch Space
Witchy World Space

New Eggs with new textures and dots instead of ?

Starting with Witchy world's puzzle, the puzzles go into third person

What eggs trigger what prize is randomized. (Got Breagal Bash from the blue egg and the game pic from the yellow)

The cheat that's revealed by the sign post can't be used without disabling saving.

What do you mean? Like, during the Jiggywiggy thing, you see Banjo? Because that may have been a feature of the original also (although my BT knowledge is not up to scratch compared to that of BK)...

One thing I noticed, but might just be confused...but is it just me or are the controls underwater backwards now? Didn't they used to be inverted???
I am having the HARDEST time swimming now!!!

You can invert them again apparently, in the menu.

Well I'm sure I'd get used to how they are at the moment if I kept playing it like that, but I'd rather have them how they used to be!!!!

The Beak Barge for me (Trigger + X), if you hold the button down, Kazooie doesn't finish her "grunt" as it cuts short. But if you tap X, you hear the full thing.

And I noticed the Glitter Gulch Mine music mess up. The sounds shifted around and made slight crackle noises every now and then.

Yeah, I noticed that too and it drives me nuts. Similar things seem to happen with certain enemy noises, as well as when you do a beak bomb. It doesn't completely cut short, but the volume just suddenly goes right down. There also seems to be some weird echoing when there shouldn't be too.

The cutscenes are off sync with the music, especially the opening, which gets quite ridiculous.

Also, am I the only one to think that the lighting is slightly messed up? Sometimes it seems way too dark... when Banjo was talking to Mrs Bottles he was basically a silhouette which didn't make much sense.

This. I ended up skipping the opening because I couldn't stand it being so out of sync. Blobellda came out of the HAG 1, and seconds later did her version of the witchs' theme start to play...

This as well. Certain places are much too dark compared to the N64 games.


In terms of music, the strings can't go as high it seems- the credits sound weird because of this, as does Spiral Mountain at times...

I'm not certain if this is a game glitch or something wrong with my settings. But I'm playing on a SDTV and the GUI icons (like the B button icon that says "interact" when you go near something) appear way too down on the screen and are barely visible. Can I fix this somehow on my settings?

Side note: I didn't pay attention to Speccy when he was explaining how the zoom camera worked, how does it work?
