Soo many things wrong with this...
My brother says Xbox 720 (not that he knows the name of it or anything, he just calls the next Boken this) and PS4 will have interlinking multiplayer. (As in Xbox people can play PS people). And he wont believe me when I tel him they wont.

That's actually a cool idea. I think that should happen. A person playing fifa 013 on the 720 goes against a person playing on a ps4.

720 and PS4 will work together fine, its the 60 Digit Friend Codes on the Brand new Wii HD that will make it a pain for all 3 systems to coexist.
Oh, and your brother should know that the Xbox 720 will run on HHDDWDDBVD Disks. HD-DVD failed because it didn't have enough repeated letters. Oh, and I should not forget Red-Ray on the PS3. Cross-platform online play isn't unheard of at least, Dreamcast owners could play PC gamers in some case IIRC.
