Ok I am so confused. Was that Locke really Locke or some imposter from the past?

Anywho, that finale was phenomenal, but it made my head explode like the hydrogen bomb. ![]()

Yea that would make perfect since. Kind of like of Jacob also went around talking to people without them knowing who he was. But now it makes me angry knowing Locke is truly dead. Did you notice how Jacob wanted to die? He purposely made Ben stab him by saying "What about you?" and then he fell into the knife and just let him get kicked in the fire.

Yeah, the real Locke's dead, unfortunately.
Gonna miss him like all the characters they kill off.I'm pretty sure that ship at the beginning is the Black Rock, and I know for a fact the crocodile statue is the four-toed statue. Also, I'm avoiding spoilers, but Juliet's "scene" was utterly shocking at the end and the scene with Ben, "Locke", and Jacob was well-scripted. Can't wait till Season 6. ![]() Something I noticed: Juliet hits the bomb eight times.

It was a great finale, I stayed up all night thinking about it! I've even made a theory about some of last night's mysteries.
The hydrogen bomb did go off, and the survivors changed the past...but the catch is, time won't change itself, so the aftereffect of the bomb will have Jack and everyone wake up in 2007, where they belong. As for the whole Locke thing, I think I understand what happened. Yes, Locke is dead, as is everyone else on the Island, but the Locke who's been on the Island after Ajira's crash WAS Locke, but his ghost. Why wasn't he acting like himself and more like the man from the opening scene? Well, look at some of the other ghosts who've appeared on the Island. Christian Shepard is one, and as a ghost, he acts almost nothing like he used to. However, he isn't an imposter posing as Christian, he's still him, as he told Locke to say hello to his son, Jack. Then there's Alex. Even as a ghost she still recognizes Ben as her father, but then threatens him if he doesn't do exactly as Locke says. Why would she say that? Why would Christian be a guide for some of the survivors? Why did Locke have the same intentions to kill Jacob as the man from the opening scene? I believe it's because all of the island's ghosts are re-animated by the man from the opening scene, Jacob's rival. While the spirits are still their former selves, they only appear to do this man's bidding, and as the finale reveals, he's used these sprits to manipulate all of the show's events to make it so he can use Ben to kill Jacob. This is why Christian has led people off the Island, and why Alex told Ben he MUST do as Locke says. This was all Jacob's rival's doing, so he can get his way and have Jacob killed. |

I'm saying he was a different person. Jacob's Enemy and the Monster are probably the same thing. It would explain a lot. How Zombie Locke would have Locke's memories (Monster scanning people and such) and The Enemy's memories (Loophole talk).
Ghosts wouldn't explain disappearing corpses. Otherwise Jack would have found Christian's corpse, Eko and Yemi's body etc.

And was Jacob TRYING to kill Sayid's wife? I know it was Bakir, but it just seems all too suspicious he asked for directions at that moment. I think the whole scene with Juliet and the bomb wasn't just put in there because the past would be changed. I'm sure something has gone wrong or the asian guy (can't remember his name) was right that the bomb is what they're trying to stop. If it was true, then there was no point of adding things to Jack dropping the bomb.

I really think he was trying to save Sayid, rather than kill Nadia. Could go either way though.

The finale definitely blew my mind-hole.
I'm calling the man with Jacob at the beginning "John 2" and the real John. "Real John". I think that John 2 and the smoke monster is different. I started to believe that John 2 was Christian too but that doesn't explain why Christian's body disappeared and why Real John's didn't. I really hope they didn't change the future as in nothing ever happened. Hopefully if they did the final scene would have been them landing in LA rather than the explosion. I'll discuss this more when I have time but for now I've got to go cry that there's no more Lost until January and then cry about the fact it's the last season.

I thought it was okay. But I seriously think they are taking it to far with some who can shapeshift. There was a fine line between Heroes and Lost, and they broke it. I'd say Sylar is Jacob's Enemy.

Wait, I'm confused. I thought that the John Corpse was just from another time (maybe I'm mental, but that's the impression I got). So does that mean that the Locke we've been seeing the whole time since he died was someone else?
The whole rest of the season I was able to understand perfectly, but now my head hurts. Still though, it was a great finale, and I can't wait for the next season. I can't even begin to imagine how they'll end it, but it should be great. ALSO, I'm very sad Jacob died. Not like in tears sad, but he seemed like he'd be an interesting character, and if they bring him back....well, it's obvious how people will react. |
