This is it folks! The award nominations is when the fun truly begins for all of you, and the work truly begins for me. For the next six days, you will nominate who you think should have a chance to win some of the prestigious Rare Witch Awards.
Posted below are this year's categories and a short description of what the categories mean and any restrictions that will be placed on the nominations. However, it is vitally important that you read the following instructions before you send your nominations to me.
Also, posted after the rules and the categories, is an example of what the nominations should look like in your private message. It really helps me out if you guys can follow those steps.
Rules and Regulations- All nominations must be private messaged to me.
- Make sure to get at least three or four nominations for each one. I'll take as few or as many as you want, but these would be golden.
- The winner of the award last year, can not win the same award again. Please read the list here, of who has won in the past year. Winners of an award in years before last can win the same award again.
- Remember to read the descriptions of each awards category before voting. Many categories need explaining, even the seemingly obvious names.
- Don't share your opinion on who to nominate in this topic, or elsewhere in the forums. Any campaigning is grounds for elimation.
- All must be sent to me by May 22nd, at 1:00 PM, PST.
- If a category is highlighted, then it does not require a nomination.
- Please send all nominations in one Private Message.
- Please don't nominate yourself.

The Sixth Annual Rare Witch Awards Categories
Member of the Year
The winners of the Member of the Year award are a select and lucky few. These members take the forums, and sculpted it into what it today. They post well, are kind to other members, and always help anybody in need. Members in this category may be anybody on the forums; moderator, administrator, or regular member.
New Member of the Year
The New Member of the Year award goes to a member that is showing all of the above qualities, but still has a bit to go! A nominee for New Member of the Year must have joined after May 1st, 2008.
Best Moderator/Admin
I must warn you, "Best Moderator/Admin" does not mean Best Member That Is A Mod. Quite the opposite really. A moderator or administrator that fits the award must be the best at doing his job. A mod that lock topics when necessary, an admin that bans the annoying ones, or one that sits and plays Halo 2.
Funniest Member
Which member is the one that makes you giggle? Chuckle? Snicker, guffaw, and cackle? Of course, many can do this. But the million-dollar question is, who does it the best?
"The Eaichu Award" (Favorite Departed Member)
Oh the memories! Members in this category are long gone, and sorely missed. A grand salute it would be to win this treasured prize. If only they would come back to accept it....
Most Creative Member
Things to look at in this category are artistic abilities, creative storytelling, RPGing skills, and Photoshop expertise. The winner, after the awards, should be referred to as the "RWP Laureate."
Most Under-Appreciated Member
The Most Under-appreciated Member Award should go to that member. You know the one. The one that quietly contributes, always considerate. Here's your chance to promote him or her to saintly status.
Most Friendly Member
The friendliest member on the boards. The one that will always stay and smile, no matter what anger they would face. They have the patience of someone that isn't of this earth. Hugs for all!
Most Improved Member
The Most Improved Member award should go to that person that you weren't so sure of to begin with. You may have mocked them in the past, but hell, they sure proved you wrong.
"Quality Not Quantity" Award
This award should go to the person that quietly sits in the corner of the Rare Witch Project. They don't talk much, but every time you see a post from them, you know that you'll be more enlightened for reading it.
Most Intelligent Member
This member just blows you away. They might scare you with their pithy and epigrammatic syntax, but deep down, you know that they know what they're talking about.
Strangest Member
Frankly put, someone that wins this award... is certainly an interesting fellow. Try to not put people that you dislike, but rather the one that banana cream pie, oh, hi, how are you?
Most Helpful Mentor
People in this new category are
mentors that you believe have aided greatly to the forums as a whole. Please don't nominate Gruntling, as awesome as he is, we want to salute the foot soliders.
Thread of the Year
Thread of the year can be anything you want it to be. A topic that made you laugh, or conversely, one that made you think. Please provide the topic name and URL.
