Total Drama Island / Action

So, I've pretty much stopped watching Cartoon Network now, because most of the stuff they have now is pretty lame (I relocated to Boomerang, where they still have some good shows). When I do watch, though, I've noticed that they're plugging the living daylights out of the Total Drama Island / Action series. Well, as my TV-watching criteria plunges even lower, I watched a few episodes of it. It's not that great, but entertaining enough to keep you occupied for a little while. For those of you who haven't heard of it and are wondering what it is, it's basically a PG-rated version of Drawn Together with less entertaining characters but just as many vomit gags.

Do you approve of this show, or not?

New season starts this Thursday. I vote for Harold and / or Izzy.

I personally love the show, I'm talking about Island I haven't even looked at action yet or really plan to. It has some great jokes and some really obscure ones sometimes (Dramatic Chimpmunk was a real surprise and a hilarious one at that). I think it's more of a canadian show, so you americans can't appreciate it to the fullest.

It's simple mixes some very surreal humor and real humor in a perfect way that it doesn't become lame like some other shows. Reminds me of an animated Corner Gas, in the way they present the jokes anyways, but way different premise.

So, who's your favorite? Mine are Harold and Izzy. Then again, they're just my favorites in the sense that they're the characters I like most from a show I don't really care for too much, so make of that what you will. And I think Total Drama Action will totally destroy its predecessor in terms of good-ness. But maybe that's just because I'm a shameless movie lover.
