Games you own but have never played

A poll done late last year suggest 11% of people own games they've never actually played. Got to say I'm one of them. There have been a few times I've seen a game cheap on eBay and snapped it up intending to play it one day but never actually got around to. I've got a still shrink-wrapped Japan import of Mr Driller on the Gamecube and 5 or 6 GBA games I've never bothered with.

Well I generally buy games to play them so I'm very specific in getting the best games for any console.

I bought assassins creed, but they put armored core 4 in the box, so I printed my own label for it, put it on the shelf and never played it. I then bought assassins creed, and didn't play that either.

armored core is actually a pretty good series. You have to be into robots though.

Final Fantasy XI.

I got it for 50p with a 2 week free trial, so it was a bargain. I got home and installed it. Then I turned off my computer as it was way late, and then I woke up, started up my computer and it had uninstalled itself. So I was like "Screw this" and shoved it away under my bed.

I also bought the incredibles for Xbox, which I bought specifically for the purpose of breaking it and simultaneously giving money to a friend to halp him get money for Resident Evil 5. I don't think he was impressed by that at all, even though he knew I was going to break it right infront of his face. He hated that game though, so no worries.

I think PiesAreBlueGuy was there.

Viewtiful Joe red hot rumble was a game I bought just because I loved the first two, but I never even gave it a chance because of all the horrible reviews it got, it just sat on the shelf.

Guild Wars, while I played maybe twice, generally just sat on the shelf.

There has to be more that I just can't think of right now.

It's only now, looking back, that I notice that it was all a 7-Up advertisement.

I also bought FFXI years ago for my PC but never got into it. I guess I had played it for maybe a few hours (so I don't know if this really counts) but then never touched it again. I also bought Boiling Point for PC a few years ago but I've never actually set it up. I hear it's supposed to be garbage though...
