Okay, here's my problem. This is the 3rd time my parents have caught me looking at pornographic websites. Now my parents are really mad and they've blocked all the sites I put on my favorites. This probably sounds weird, but it's been a few days now, and I realize that I'm not going to make it. See, I'm 12 years old, which means there's 6 more years before I can do this stuff freely. My parents think I could spend my whole life like this, and in a few weeks I won't think twice about it. But I just can't. It probably sounds weird, but I don't really have as much will to live anymore. My dad is a computer programmer, and he runs the whole system, so he tracks me down every time.

Really, I don't see what's wrong with it, it doesn't change my personality at all. If it was like a drug, and killed me from the inside, I wouldn't do it. But really, it's not bad for you, and that's why I've really started to hate my parents now. My mom just doesn't understand, and my dad's just jealous because he never got to do it. But I really don't think I can just stop doing it suddenly. Every time I'm finally trying to calm down from it, my dad says to me, "Now Kevin, don't be looking at any bad websites, okay?" and walks away. I've lost all my privacy, and I don't even enjoy using the internet anymore.

So, what should I do? Should I just endure not doing it, and try distracting myself with something else? Should I just try sneaking it again? But I don't know why I'm even saying this, because I already know what you'll all say. You'll say, "talk to them." But it's not that easy. If I do that, they'll start getting suspicious again. They'll spy on me more often, and will trust me even less. Whatever I say to them, they don't understand. They don't even seem like my parents, because they don't understand this at all. So yes, this is a time I need a lot of help. I don't really know what I can do, or who will understand my problem. I just can't trust anyone anymore.

By masturbating. And don't delete it, give it time. I think you need to slowy try to give it up if its a big problem. If you really need it (don't we all?) just go to a friend's house or something. I don't recommend trying to trick your father with his profession.

I too have a similar problem... but this time is worse... because my SISTER caught me when I was doing what Andre said! And it is not stupid or funny! But just a few things:

1)You can delete your internet track of the webpages you visit,and you can do this EVERY SINGLE TIME you enter to it!

2)Don't hate your parents,it will just make the problem worse

3)If you don't masturbate,you can always look at this at a friends house,like Andre said,but I'm afraid you may get your friend in problems if their parents catch him...

4)I know it's an adiction,many teenagers have it,so don't feel strange or bad (I know at least 12 people that watch porn,and this is only at my school)

5)Finally,try looking for something else to see,or give it a break! After a few weeks,your father may forget about it...

I doubt you could get past your dad. Andre's suggestion sounds the most likely way you can view said sites. Just make sure you cover your tracks. And don't worry, we all have our vices.

Don't forget to delete it from the recycle bin, too. I went through a time where I deleted every semi-bad fanfic I read, and boy was my dad surprised when he found 500 deleted Fanfiction.net links in the recycle bin.
But I wouldn't suggest doing that. Unless your library computer has locks, then you can always look at the library. Or you can sort of slowly stop doing it. I don't have a problem like this, though, so I'm not the best person to ask.

At the moment, I'd agree with you. But clearing browser history, cache, cookies, and maybe even clearing registry keys with suspicious URLs can go a long way.

Another good thing to remember is that you can always save target as, and then burn onto a CD. Windows doesn't keep track of local content as much as web browsers do with the internet. You just have to clear your documents, and make sure any suspicious media in Windows Media Player (or what have you) is not the last thing played. And it wouldn't hurt to discretely name things, either.

My personal advice is to try to get away from it; try to beat the addiction.

My personal background is that I used to watch porn, but it lost its enjoyment with me after I found my girlfriend. She taught me so much more, and excited me without taking off her clothes or doing anything sexual. She would just be with me and talk to me. It's all I ever needed after that. I will say that before her, I was addicted, the same way she was addicted to drugs. But, we both got through our addictions together, and it was totally worthwhile.

So I know how it feels to watch it, but I also know how possible it is to get away from it. You probably can't do it cold turkey like I did, so just take it one step at a time.

If you're not going to "use" it, then it would be alright at a friend's house. But not if plan on being dirty with it. Other than home and a friend's house, I can only think of libraries and school, and both are totally wrong for that.Some of the others suggestions in this thread sound like they may work, however. I see no problem with masturbating, personally. Its quite natural and to say otherwise would be crazy, at least in my opinion. A lot of people start around 12 years of age. Some people start even earlier, so in my eyes nothing's wrong with it.

My best advice I can give to you now though is pretty much what everyone has said. Thoroughly and I mean thoroughly hide your tracks. Clear your cache, your history, the works. Don't ever add anything to your favorites folder either. And check afterwards to make sure.

One word limewire download movies and burn them to a vcd delete and then you've got something to watch when ever you want , since your 12 i can understand your problem.

Problem with Limewire is that it is still saved in your history for a while. Luckily, I have my own custom-build computer. It runs Debian, so my parents don't use it, because they don't understand it.

^ True but its easy to clean and way better than sites wich can leave your computer completly stuffed. And having a dvd that you can load in your dvd player is great no history ever or any way of getting cought ( unless ofcause our cought red handed or should i say white handed)
